For this project, QaromaShop collaborated with a 4th generation woodmaker, in a remote village located in Bozhou, China.
Being a small, traditional and struggling business, they did not own any vacuum pumps, chambers nor ovens. Each handle was previously air dried and was at the mercy of the elements.
With the profits from the first QaromaShop order the woodmaker was able to afford a vacuum oven, with it bringing more opportunity and thus enabling them to offer higher quality finished products.
Together we feel privileged to be able to contribute to help keeping small and traditional businesses alive!
